Once again, Signature HealthCARE of Waterford residents and stakeholders had the joy to participate in our National Day of Prayer. We kicked off our special service with the pledge of allegiance recited by Don Pridemore and facility engineer. Following the pledge, our nurse Rose, and Wilma from activities prayed in their native language of French and Filipino. Luis, one of our faithful volunteers, prayed in Spanish.
This year we made sure our residents participated and felt involved in the prayers being petitioned. Many prayers were offered on behalf of Government officials, family members and for the blessing of our very own facility of Waterford. We had a long list of requests that we were honored to pray for.
Lastly, Chaplain Jacob Miranda taught from Matthew 6:9-13. on The Lord’s Prayer. The service was concluded with a beautiful song that was sung and composed by Magali from activities.
